Dallas and neighboring Fort Worth together make up an area called the Metroplex. Travelers to the Metroplex can look forward to exploring trendy neighborhoods like the bustling Bishop Arts District and the rich culture of Deep Ellum. Check out the Stockyards National Historic District, the Cowgirl Hall of Fame, and Billy Bob's Texas, the world's largest honky tonk, for interesting western history.

No trip to Dallas would be complete without exploring the food! Try the Tex-Mex cooking for Mexican food with Texas flair. Tuck into a Frito pie, a mixture of chili with Fritos corn chips, and have the king of comfort food, a chicken fried steak smothered in creamy peppered gravy.
